Fifth day of the novena : Abandonment in God

O Saint Teresa,

who in the midst of adversity and suffering,

both of spirit and the flesh, kept bright your faith in the paternity of God,

your hope in seeking His works fulfilled and your love for His will,

help us to be patient under stain, joyous in hope,

persevering in prayer and wholly abandoned to the misery of His will.
