Ninth day of novena : In the situation of violence

Gracious Lord,

we dream of a world free of poverty and oppression,

we yearn for a world free of vengeance and violence,

we pray for your peace. Help us to love our neighbors as ourselves,

and even to love our enemies.

In the times of violence and fear let the peace of Christ rule in everyone’s heart,

put away the nightmares of terror and awaken us to the dawning of your new creation.

O Saint Teresa, pray for the peace in the world.
