Solidarity Day

“I am a mission, always; you are a mission, always; every baptized man and woman is a mission. People in love never stand still: they are drawn out of themselves…”

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Pope Francis

In this year, 2019, we celebrate the 93rd  WORLD MISSION DAY and the 12th CONGREGATIONAL DAY OF SOLIDARITY. Pope Francis asked the whole Church that this October be lived as an EXTRAORDINARY MISSIONARY MONTH with the aim of celebrating the centenary of the promulgation of the APOSTOLIC LETTER MAXIMUM ILLUD by Pope Benedict XV (11/30/1919).

It will be a very appropriate month to renew our passion for Christ and for the humanity that suffer the consequences of injustice and wars.

In this year ,the Solidarity Day will be dedicated to the Mission of the DSHJ in the Central African Republic – RCA, specifically in BANGUI and  BIMBO. We selected this part of  Africa because, we are in the preparation for the  celebration of the 50th years of presence of the DSHJ  in this nation that has suffered so much with frequent wars and consequently with so much hunger and lack of the necessary for a dignified life.

Let us entrust to the Heart of Jesus, through the intercession of Mary and our Founders, the LIFE and MISSION of the DSHJ in favor of our most needy brothers.
